Birthday tunes
A lady treating us to some tunes, with only the odd missed note, due to the fact it was her birthday & that she had had a drink or two to celebrate.

Once again Rockley Cruising Club headed for the Solent, over the Spring Bank Holiday.

This year the numbers were depleted due to, foreign holidays, engine problems, and work commitments. Lets hope we and our boats are all fit and well for 2011.

Five of us made it to the Solent, first stop Shepards Wharf Cowes.
We visited Osborne House, Where Queen Vicoria and Prince Albert lived.

Then a sail to Bucklers Hard, where we saw Peter Snow walking around the Marina.

The next day saw us motoring to Lymington quay.

Off for a sail to Newton creek for lunch, then give the engines some stick as soon as the tide turned to take us to Yarmouth for the Old Gaffers.

Sunday saw us heading home via Poole Yacht Club for Sunday lunch.
A really great week.
