April 2010 Newsheet
It was announced on Friday 12th March, that the Government has approved its part of the funding for the 2nd Poole Bridge - The Twin Sail Bridge. Building is expected to start in the summer, with completion in 2012.

The Leisure section of CHIRP, reminds us to check our lifejackets regularly and to wear them correctly, to keep a good lookout and that in fog (RADAR in use) both vessels should take avoiding action - this conduct differs from when both vessels are in sight of each other! It also reminds us to keep a sharp lookout in strong tidal conditions, for small marker buoys that can be below the surface.
